Following the release of Seppeltsfield’s still wine range in February 2018, the packaging adopted by the new wine range has been recognised on the world stage for its design.
Harpers Wine & Spirit Co. have recognised the bold design with a silver award in the 2018 Harpers Design Awards. which draws upon strong historical cues unearthed at the Barossa estate.
Seppeltsfield is proud to be recognised as Barossa’s Star Cellar Door by Gourmet Traveller Wine for 2019.
The fifth-year-in-a-row recognition comes after extensive renovations of the 1900’s bottling hall in 2014 which lead Seppeltsfield to unveil a world-class cellar door; blending together historic and contemporary architecture to provide intimate wine tasting experiences. Through four circular tasting alcoves known as ‘pods’, guests can enjoy tasting the newest wine releases from Seppeltsfield, including estate grown Grenache and alternative varietals such as Vermentino and Touriga.
Seppeltsfield proudly represented South Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards (2018), alongside eight other recognised best in their category South Australian tourism businesses, being awarded silver on the national stage for the category of 'Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries'.
Seppeltsfield have started off 2019 with an exciting new expansion into South East Asia, partnering with market leading wine importer, retailer and distributor, The Straits Wine Company.
Seppeltsfield arguably one of the Barossa Valley’s most iconic estates, with 168-year history, built its reputation on the production of exceptional fortified wines and remains the only winery in the world to release a 100-year-old, single vintage wine every year.
