Private Events

Established in 1851 by the Seppelt family, Seppeltsfield is just under an hour’s drive from Adelaide and sits in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The estate has evolved into a modern day village, with the winery and cellar door at the heart and is most famed for our Centennial Collection, the world’s longest unbroken line of single vintage wines, dating back to 1878.

Seppeltsfield offers a range of options for private group dining.  Our event spaces are full of character, whether you enjoy lunch in our grand Dining Hall which dates back to 1890, mingle on our pristine lawns with the palm trees in the distance or hold a large dinner in our Vintage Cellar.  We offer premium group menu options for groups of 50 to 500, for meetings, lunches, dinners and special occasions.

Small Groups – Please note that small groups can book for casual food and drinks at our café Octeine on our grounds and our destination restaurant Fino Seppeltsfield also offers group lunch menus, as well as function packages.

Seppeltsfield Picnic Grounds – we welcome visitors to enjoy our private picnic grounds, but group bookings are subject to availability and must follow gathering and capacity restrictions and liquor licences requirements (no BYO alcohol).  We don’t accept bookings for hens, stag, 21st events, large groups or from buses with liquor licences.
