Please join me, Fiona Donald – the Chief Winemaker here at the Seppeltsfield Estate, to learn about the history of the stables building that is now home to Jam Factory Craft and Design.
Built in 1851, the stables were one of the first buildings onsite and the building still retains historical elements including sections of cobble stone floors and local slate. Since 2013 it has been home to the JamFactory Craft and Design studios.
As well as a number of historical features that can be seen inside the building, there is also a good view of the old stables and coach house that can be seen from the main entrance to the estate.
I encourage you to refer to the map on this website for the route to continue to hear the Seppeltsfield Estate history. The location of the next podcast – the viewing deck overlooking the old bottling hall which is now home to the Seppeltsfield Cellar Door and FINO Seppeltsfield Restaurant.
