Today, we see, the newest addition to the Seppeltsfield village open the doors, Octeine Coffee – the name Octeine represents what fuels human and machine to experience adventure: Octane x Caffeine = Octeine.
Octeine is more than coffee – it’s an outdoor activity and adventure brand. Owner and Entrepreneur Pete Mann said ‘We love the outdoors, we love adventure, and we love to share our experiences, hence the opportunity to open Octeine Coffee at Seppeltsfield, was a natural fit and truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to strategically broaden our footprint’.
Octeine Coffee at Seppeltsfield’s signature offering will be the ‘Single Origin Coffee Tasting Flight’ – the same coffee, but in three different expressions – Espresso, Espresso with Milk and Filtered. The coffee variety offered on the tasting flight will be seasonally driven. The coffee is sourced from around the world then roasted and blended at Octeine’s South Australia roastery.
The food philosophy is built on fresh, healthy, fun and on the go, sourced locally where possible, using raw ingredients. The menu includes smoothies (wholefood and protein), acai bowls, overnight oats, smashed avocado and raw treats. And of course, Seppeltsfield Wines, Barossa Cider Co. and local beer will be on offer.
Octeine Coffee was founded in March 2019 by Pete Mann, with the first venture in Kent Town. Former teacher, Pete spent 2018 between De Groot Coffee Co. at Port Elliot and Seafaring Fools at Glenelg South, and took a specialist coffee roasting course at Aunty Peg’s at Proud Mary’s, where he learned the art of coffee roasting and making, respectively. He was soon roasting his own coffee under the Octeine label and supplying Acai Bar, Bomdia Bowls at Glenelg. Since then, expanding Octeine Coffee to a hole in the wall in the Adelaide CBD and a coffee cart in Torrensville, as well as selling Octeine beans via the online store.
Seppeltsfield is privately owned by Executive Chairman and Entrepreneur Warren Randall, who has been responsible for bringing the Seppeltsfield Village back to life, restoring the 1888 Gravity Cellar and turning this into a world class tourism destination and fine wine brand.

Octeine Coffee at Seppeltsfield will be open 7 days a week: weekdays 8.30am – 3.30pm, weekends 10am – 5pm.
