Married in Seppeltsfields Vineyards on 23rd of November, 2013
Jenna & Ryan met through a dare on a night out and ended up dancing the night away together; what a dare can achieve!
After eight years of dating, they decided to take their relationship to the next step and bought their own home in the picturesque Barossa Valley.
On a casual Monday afternoon, Ryan spread rose petals throughout their country home and lit candles for a romantic ambience. He even decorated the entrance with photos of them together! Upon Jenna's return, he got down on one knee and popped the question. And as they say, the rest is history.
Living just down the road at the time, and having deep connections with Seppeltsfield; the newly engaged couple couldn’t imagine anywhere more perfect to celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of their lives.
They decided on an outdoor ceremony overlooking the winery’s picturesque vineyards on the Western ridge of the valley and travelled to the reception venue by authentic horse and carriage. On arrival at the estate, they begun the celebration by indulging in their mutual 1985 birth year vintage tawny from the historic 1878 Centennial Cellar.
The Seppeltsfield 1920's Vintage Cellar was an ideal inspiration for Jenna & Ryan's rustically vintage style wedding. Decorated with vibrant cottage flower jars and soy candles, made in Jenna's late grandmother's bone china teacups, the reception atmosphere was filled with warmth and love from those who were there in spirit. This charming touch also extended to Jenna's accessories, with the bride choosing her grandmothers' heirloom sapphire necklace and pearl earrings to complete the personal ambience of the day. A beautiful 1930’s Ford Zephyr saloon was the final flourish to their vintage theme as their ‘Just Married’ car!
