Pale amber with gold tinges
Honey and caramel, toffee
Honeycomb, golden syrup. A soft and integrated spirit ensures a satin smooth finish
Schluck is Seppeltsfield's contemporary take on the traditional white Port, a popular fortified wine style which sees solely white grapes feature as the varietal backbone. Schluck, a Barossa Deutsch/German reference to 'drink' or 'sip', is characterised by two main grape varieties - Muscadelle (the variety of 'Tokay') and Pedro Ximenez - a traditional Spanish variety used as the basis for many sweet Sherry styles.
A highly aromatic wine, displaying caramel, honeycomb and lifted spirit. The palate weight is light and fresh, whilst maintaining a core of raisined fruit. Enjoy on its own beside the ambience of an open fire, or add a dash of chilled tonic as the Portuguese do for a sun-downer or aperitif.
