Seppeltsfield is proud to be recognised as Barossa’s Star Cellar Door by Gourmet Traveller Wine for 2019.
The fifth-year-in-a-row recognition comes after extensive renovations of the 1900’s bottling hall in 2014 which lead Seppeltsfield to unveil a world-class cellar door; blending together historic and contemporary architecture to provide intimate wine tasting experiences. Through four circular tasting alcoves known as ‘pods’, guests can enjoy tasting the newest wine releases from Seppeltsfield, including estate grown Grenache and alternative varietals such as Vermentino and Touriga.
Seppeltsfield has continued to be expand its suite of premium tour and tasting experiences, to include a range of Daily Tour and Tastings and Centennial Cellar Experiences, including the opportunity to taste your birth year tawny and 100 year old tawny direct from barrel in the famed 1878 Centennial Cellar.
The Seppeltsfield Village has also continued to grow with the welcome of JamFactory Craft + Design Studios, destination restaurant FINO and Vasse Virgin skincare & retail shop. Discover the Seppeltsfield village on the ‘Village Discovery Tour’, where you can experience the property’s award-winning mix of wine, food, craft, design and beauty attractions, on an immersive 75 minute tour.
Seppeltsfield Cellar Door and Village open daily 10.30am – 5pm | Bookings recommended for cellar door tour & tasting experiences and FINO restaurant.
