1849
Joseph Seppelt migrated to Australia from Silesia in eastern Europe
1851 Joseph Seppelt purchased and planted vineyards at what is now Seppeltsfield.
1868
Joseph Seppelt died. Oscar Benno Seppelt, then 21, took over the family business.
1878
Port Store Cellar at Seppeltsfield completed.
The first vintage Para Liqueur Port was laid down for 100 yrs
1914
Seppelt purchased the Clydeside Vineyard at Rutherglen.
1916
Seppelt purchased the Chateau Tanunda Distillery.
Seppelt purchased the Great Western Winery from Hans Irvine.
Seppelt purchased and planted the Barooga Vineyard in Southern New South Wales.
1956
Seppelt planted Qualco Vineyards.
Seppelt purchased land at Padthaway, and planted the Keppoch Vineyard.
Seppelt purchased and planted the Drumborg Vineyard in Southern Victoria.
Seppelt purchased the Hunter Valley Vineyard.
1978
The first 100 year old Para Liqueur was released.
1980
Seppelt purchased and planted the Partalunga Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills.
1983
Seppelt sold Hunter Valley Vineyard.
1984
The Clydeside Vineyard at Rutherglen was sold.
Seppelt aquired the Woodley/Queen Adelaide Wine Company.
1985
SA Brewing Holding purchased the Seppelt Company.
1994
SA Brewing Holdings changed their name to Southcorp Holdings
2005
Foster's Group purchased Southcorp Wines
2007
The Seppeltsfield Estate Trust purchased the Seppeltsfield site, vineyards, fortified brands and stock from Foster's Group.
