Barossa brothers, Oscar and Hugo Bowen grew up in a wine family with an interest in fermenting anything they could get their hands on.
Having cut their teeth messing around with red grapes from their home vineyard and sick of the stained hands and teeth, they decided to create the best cider in South Australia. Oscar and Hugo are the sons of Seppeltsfield proprietors Randolph and Anita Bowen and have been brought up on the fringe of the Seppeltsfield estate.
Seppeltsfield Raspberry Cordial, now a South Australian icon, was first conceived by Joseph Seppelt in the 1800s, with evidence of the original recipe remaining under lock and key at the Barossa Valley estate. Generations have now grown up drinking Seppeltsfield Raspberry Cordial and it continues to be enjoyed by all ages.
