In 2007, Seppeltsfield was sold by the Foster's Group and purchased by The Seppeltsfield Estate Trust, whose unitholders include the shareholders of
Kilikanoon (a wine brand, winery and cellar door in the Clare valley with vineyards in Clare and Barossa Valley.
The new owners include Nathan Waks (Managing Director) and Bruce Baudinet (Chairman).
They are passionate about the arts, the premium wine industry and a vision to bring Seppeltsfield Village back to past glories.
They see themselves as the new custodians of the Seppeltsfield Site and its rich history.
Importantly, the sale keeps Seppeltsfield ownership in Australian hands.
Seppeltsfield, the wine brand, will be reserved for just fortified wines.
